Trade deadline looming
The NFL trade deadline is November 10 but since that falls during the Steelers' bye week, we expect to see some action in advance of the deadline, enough for the team to get any new players on the team and up to speed with the bye to practice. But for this weekend, keep a close eye on if any players are inactive who wouldn't normally be as they are the guys on the block and their teams don't want to risk injury ahead of a trade.
Revenge game loading
The Steelers haven't been swept by the Browns in the regular season since 1988. The No. 1 song in the country was Bad Medicine by Bon Jovi and the Steelers need to deliver a bitter pill to Cleveland after an ugly loss to them earlier in the season.
All the pressure on the offensive line
In the last matchup, the Browns sacks quarterback Aaron Rodgers five times
and the Steelers continue to struggle to protect the 42-year old quarterback. In particular the tandem of first-round picks at offensive tackle have underperformed and need to step up this week.
Can the Steelers make the Browns one-dimensional on offense?
Last time these two teams squared off, the Browns threw a very balanced attack at the defense and kept the Pittsburgh defense on its heels. Pittsburgh's run defense has been strong and need to shut down the Cleveland run game and force Deshaun Watson to throw the football.
Jaylen Warren is the key
If the Steelers don't want a repeat of last time, keeping the offense centered on Jaylen Warren is key. The Browns run defense is somewhat suspect and Warren has been on a tear recently and this must continue on Sunday.
