Aaron Rodgers is a man of the people, as the Pittsburgh Steelers veteran quarterback took an opportunity post-game to shed light on just how badJaylen Warren's shoulder injury really was, which makes his career-defining Week 3 performance even more impressive.
Speaking with reporters after the 30-27 win over the Cincinnati Bengals, Rodgers shared that coaches were so concerned about the shoulder injury that they warned Rodgers not to throw Warren the ball in practice. The fact that Warren was able to suit up and play the way he did earned him massive respect from Rodgers.
"I was told yesterday, 'Don't throw Jaylen the ball in practice,'" Rodgers said. "'Why?' 'He's got a shoulder [injury].' Then I saw [Warren] today, and he had the little something
on there. What a tough guy. I've always had respect for him, playing against him, and then being his teammate now for a little more than a season. He is one of the toughest guys I've ever played with."
