Maybe the only way to stop Pittsburgh Steelers edge defender T.J. Watt is to poke him in the eye. Late in the first half, Watt came out of the game after getting a nasty poke in the eye on a play against the Indianapolis Colts. Watt was in the medical tent for some time and in the final moments of the first half was on the sidelines with an ice pack on that right eye and the broadcast team noted the team put a visor on his help for extra protection should he return.
The Steelers have not announced any official injury designation for Watt and are likely waiting until they come out of the locker room at halftime. Nick Herbig has taken over Watt's spot on that side while he is out.
