The Pittsburgh Steelers have been heavily linked to wide receiver trade targets over the past several weeks, from Brian Thomas Jr. to Josh Downs to just about every other wide receiver or rumored wide receiver target fans can think of. But one new report indicates the team could also be interested in another position of need.
According to NFL insider Jordan Schultz, the Steelers, in addition to their heavily reported wide receiver trade interest, are expected to also pursue cornerback help at the NFL trade deadline.
"Steelers looking for WR/CB help," Schultz wrote via X.
If the Steelers are truly interested in some cornerback trade targets at the deadline, there are a few possible options for the team, such as Carrington Valentine of the Green
Bay Packers, Christian Fulton of the Kansas City Chiefs, or Riq Woolen of the Philadelphia Eagles.
We at Steelers Wire remain committed to providing any key trade updates as the NFL deadline draws near, including any potential team interest in adding more depth to their cornerback room.
