The Pittsburgh Steelers saw one of their star defenders miss practice to start the week ahead of their Week 6 matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
To kick off the Week 6 practice report, Steelers All-Pro cornerback Jalen Ramsey (wrist) was listed as a non-participant on Wednesday. Luckily, this injury isn't new and hasn't resulted in any missed games to this point. Barring an unforeseen setback, Ramsey should be able to suit up in Week 6 if he can at least upgrade to limited participation.

Ramsey, who was traded to the Steelers in June 2025, has become a versatile chess piece
for Pittsburgh's defense, capable of lining up in the slot, outside, and even at safety. In 2026, Ramsey has primarily played in the slot, but he will occasionally take snaps at safety and in the box during games.
Suffering a wrist fracture in the Week 3 win over the Cincinnati Bengals, Ramsey has been able to play through the injury with a brace and has found tremendous success early this season. Here's to hoping Ramsey's recovery has been going according to plan and the 11-year veteran can continue to suit up despite the setback.
