On Thursday, Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike McCarthy addressed the media ahead of this week's game against the Cincinnati Bengals. During his presser, McCarthy was once again pressed about the situation with cornerback Joey Porter Jr. and McCarthy got defensive over the situation he and the team have created.
The team has waffled back and forth between some mythical back injury and conditioning as the reason for Porter's confusing game and practice status throughout the season. Porter Jr. broke his silence this week and looked far more at ease about the situation and almost seemed at peace, as he is more than willing to let McCarthy and the Steelers squirm under media scrutiny to try to save some face. And not doing a great job at it as the weeks
drag on.
