The Pittsburgh Steelers aren't finished addressing their roster, as the team just brought in a former fifth-round draft pick of the New England Patriots via their practice squad.
On Tuesday, the Steelers signed ex-Patriots outside linebacker Bradyn Swinson to their practice squad, along with a familiar face at wide receiver.

Swinson, who played at Oregon (2020-2022) and LSU (2023-2024), recorded 13.5 sacks, 128 combined tackles, and 25 tackles for loss during his collegiate career. He was drafted by New England with the 146th overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft but was released as a part of final roster cuts during his rookie year.
After
spending his first NFL season off and on the Patriots' active roster, including three game-day appearances, Swinson would see a similar outcome heading into Year 2, getting released by the Patriots on 2026 roster cutdown day.
Swinson's latest opportunity has led him to the Steel City of Pittsburgh, where he'll have the luxury of learning behind a plethora of talented edge rushers with the Steelers.
