"I feel like I'm always going to miss that part of them getting to meet my dad," Heyward admitted. "I look at my kids and
I can say like, man, they're stubborn as hell. But that was my dad to a T."

"Missing these monumental moments in my life I'm always pretty upset about," Heyward shared. "I don't like to talk about it because it's near and dear to my heart, but like those people, they should have had an experience with him."
Despite the lingering grief, Heyward looked back fondly on his father's colorful presence, recalling how "Ironhead" would get kicked out of youth games for passionately yelling from the sidelines or embarrass him by blaring rap music during school drop-offs.
"Looking back I'm like, damn, my dad was cool as [hell]," Heyward laughed. "I wish they could experience that and have their grandfather around."
