The Pittsburgh Steelers' Week 5 opponent, the Indianapolis Colts, have ruled out several players for Sunday's matchup.
Courtesy of the final Week 5 injury report, the Colts ruled out five players for their game against the Steelers: linebacker Jaylon Carlies, wide receiver Ashton Dulin, defensive end Arden Key, tight end Will Mallory, and wide receiver Darius Slayton.
After missing the first 11 games of the 2025 season, Carlies has had a concerning injury history. He's appeared in the first four games for Indianapolis but suffered a rib injury in the Colts' Week 4 win that ultimately led to him getting ruled out in Week 5.
Dulin previously suffered an ankle injury in Week 1 and missed the team's next two games. Despite returning in Week 4, Dulin suffered a hamstring
injury, which ultimately led to him being sidelined for Sunday's game against the Steelers.
Key has appeared in every game so far for Indianapolis this season but suffered a hamstring injury in the team's Week 4 win over the Washington Commanders. He was unable to log a single practice this week and was ruled out on Friday.
Mallory, listed as the fourth-string tight end on the Colts' depth chart, put together a strong performance in the team's preseason opener before suffering a thumb sprain at training camp practice on August 20. He was placed on injured reserve on August 31 and returned to Week 5 practice on Wednesday as a full participant, but the Colts decided to hold him out for Sunday's game against the Steelers.
Slayton, who spent his first seven years with the New York Giants and has yet to make his debut with the Colts, was originally designated as questionable with a knee injury for Week 5 before the team downgraded him to out on Saturday.
