Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Patrick Queen is under fire for his poor performance in the Week 4 loss to the Cleveland Browns, as one former defender believes Queen is more worried about protecting his next contract than actually playing football.
Taking to social media, former Steelers linebacker Vince Williams called out Queen for “making business decisions” instead of giving Pittsburgh's defense everything he has.
“I’m a Queen fan but he’s making business decisions out there,” Williams wrote via X. “He knows this is his last year with the Steelers and he’s playing safe.”

Queen’s Week 4 efforts were especially
terrible on one particular touchdown play in which he was absolutely embarrassed by 190-pound wide receiver KC Concepcion, who blocked the Steelers linebacker with ease as Browns running back Jaleel McLaughlin took a 28-yard rush into the end zone.
Queen, who's in the final year of the three-year deal he signed back in 2024, hasn't exactly lived up to his Pro Bowl status in Pittsburgh. In fact, the veteran linebacker was heavily linked as a potential roster cut or trade candidate this offseason. If Queen's level of play doesn't improve in a hurry, we wouldn't be surprised if the Steelers cut ties with him just like they did with his former teammate Joey Porter Jr.
