The Pittsburgh Steelers are still rumored to be among the teams looking to add players before the NFL trade deadline, but we didn't expect inside linebacker Cole Holcomb to be the name mentioned as a guy who could be traded away. But this is what was noted in a recent article by ESPN.
ESPN highlighted that the Steelers continue to watch the wide receiver market during the bye week to see if they can bolster the talent there for the team's final nine games. Then they just casually thew in that Holcomb could be a guy the Steelers deal.
Holcomb has become a forgotten man on the Steelers defense. The continued high-level play of Patrick Queen and Payton Wilson have kept him out of the rotation but he's got starter-level talent and is one of the better
run-stopping inside linebackers in the AFC.
