Apparently, things got pretty heated before the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cleveland Browns game in Week 8, as Ben Roethlisberger just retold a concerning story about needing to calm down James Harrison.
According to Big Ben on the newest episode of Footbahlin' with Ben Roethlisberger, Harrison was angry that Browns players had crossed midfield onto the Steelers' side before kickoff, which eerily resembles the controversial actions Browns defensive end Jared Verse was seen doing during warmups. Charlie Batc added that Harrison had complained to both the Steelers' general manager and team owner and was preparing to go onto the field himself.
Roethlisberger attempted to calm Harrison down, claiming that the former Steelers defender was "already trying
to fight people" when he arrived. Big Ben recalled telling Harrison, "James, man, what are we doing? Like, settle down," but Harrison responded, "No, man, I ain't having that."
Hilariously enough, Harrison was able to watch his Steelers dish out the best revenge possible as Pittsburgh defeated Cleveland 27-6, with Verse also receiving a body-slam from Steelers offensive guard Mason McCormick.
