Slaughter, who played collegiate football at Tennessee (2020–2023) and Arkansas (2024), began his NFL career as an undrafted free agent with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Slaughter would
later sign a reserve/future contract with the Steelers in January 2026. He was unfortunately released during final roster cuts but subsequently signed with the Steelers' practice squad.
Slaughter was elevated from the practice squad for the Steelers' first three games of the season and was signed to the active roster on October 1. He was later waived but ultimately brought back on October 10, where he now remains a vital depth contributor on the 53-man roster.
