Most rushing attempts in a single game
The Pittsburgh Steelers franchise record for most carries in a single game belongs to Hall of Famer Franco Harris, who logged 41 carries for 143 yards on October 17, 1976, in a 23–6 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals.
Most receptions in a single game
The Steelers franchise record for most receptions in a single game belongs to Antonio Brown, who hauled in 17 catches on 23 targets for a franchise-record 284 receiving yards against the Oakland Raiders on November 8, 2015.
Most pass attempts in a single game
Roethlisberger threw 68 passes (completing 47 for 501 yards and 4 touchdowns) in the
AFC Wild Card playoff game against the Cleveland Browns on January 10, 2021. This is also an NFL postseason record.
Most solo tackles in a single game
Linebacker Vince Williams set the record against the Kansas City Chiefs on October 2, 2016, finishing with 14 solo stops (and 16 combined) along with a sack in a 43–14 victory.
Most defensive snaps in a single season
Inside linebacker Patrick Queen logged 1,112 defensive snaps (95.5%) in the 17-game 2025 season, breaking his previous mark of 1,090 defensive snaps set in 2024.
Most career games played
Ben Roethlisberger holds the Steelers franchise record for the most career games played, appearing in 249 regular-season games across his 18 seasons (2004–2021) with Pittsburgh. Including the postseason, he played in a total of 272 games in black and gold.
