The Indianapolis Colts are dealing with some pretty significant injuries on both sides of the football ahead of their Week 5 matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Here's what fans should know.
Courtesy of the Week 5 injury report, Colts wide receiver Keenan Allen (NIR-rest/groin), wide receiver Darius Slayton (knee), and cornerback Charvarius Ward (NIR-rest/groin) were deemed questionable for Sunday's game against Pittsburgh. Two Steelers players were also listed as questionable.

Allen, who joined the Colts in August 2026, performed
admirably for Indianapolis in the first three games of the season, catching 13 passes for 100 receiving yards and one touchdown. He was ruled out in Week 4 with the same NIR-rest/groin injury designation. But Allen was able to finish the week as a full participant on Friday and should be in the clear for Sunday's game as one of Indianapolis' top pass catchers.
Slayton, who spent the first seven years of his career with the New York Giants, was released on September 7, 2026. He signed with the Colts a few weeks later but has yet to appear in a game for Indianapolis.
Ward, one of the starting cornerbacks for Indianapolis, suffered a groin injury in Week 2 but has continued to play through the health setback. He was able to upgrade to full participation on Friday and should be available for the Colts' defense.
