As we continue to inch towards the NFL trade deadline, the Pittsburgh Steelers have been linked to a "semi-big" wide receiver trade.
According to insider Mark Kaboly, the Steelers are expected to be interested in a wide receiver trade that won't necessarily break the internet, but could be enough to make an impact on offense.
"The plan is to go semi-big, but sometimes that is easier said than done," Kaboly wrote about the Steelers' wide receiver trade plans. "It helps that the trade deadline isn't until Nov. 10, which will push many teams into that sellers' market by then. They looked big at at the last couple of deadlines, and it never quite worked out for one reason or another."
There are a few "semi-big" wide receivers who could fit this report
for a Steelers trade, such as Kendrick Bourne of the Arizona Cardinals or even Brian Thomas Jr. of the Jacksonville Jaguars, the latter of whom has been linked to Pittsburgh in recent weeks.
The Steelers haven't been shy about making moves near the trade deadline in years past, but they haven't exactly panned out in the team's favor. Here's to hoping whoever the Steelers acquire becomes a real difference maker for the team.
