T.J. Watt's surprise injury before the Pittsburgh Steelers' Week 7 Paris matchup against the New Orleans Saints caught fans off guard, but the team has since provided a key update on his availability for Sunday's game.
When asked if Watt's new calf injury could limit his availability for the Week 7 Paris game, McCarthy strongly hinted that Watt would play.
"I would say no," McCarthy told the media when asked about Watt's Week 7 status being impacted.
T.J. Watt was limited during Thursday's practice in Pittsburgh with a calf issue. Coach Mike McCarthy said he doesn't believe it will impact the OLB's inclusion in Sunday's game.

Watt began the week of practice as a non-participant, but with a resting veteran/non-injury-related designation. On Thursday,
however, Watt returned as a limited participant but with a new calf injury on the practice report.
The Steelers appear to be confident that Watt can suit up in Week 7, but we at Steelers Wire will keep a close eye on his status just a few days out from the Paris game against the Saints.
