What is the story about?

On Saturday, the Pittsburgh Steelers announced a handful of roster moves ahead of this week's game against the Cincinnati Bengals. Perhaps the biggest move was placing rookie guard Gennings Dunker on IR. Dunker suffered a sprained MCL in practice last week when he was rolled up on. According to reports, Dunker won't need surgery but could miss 4-6 weeks recovering.

Dunker is one of the guys we had in line to potentially take the starting right guard spot from Spencer Anderson. Pittsburgh is looking to make some changes on the offensive line but with Dunker out, it'll be Anderson or veteran Brock Hoffman holding things down until Dunker can come back.

The Steelers signed Homer

to the roster as opposed to elevating him which could indicate he's going to be a regular part of the rotation and Dowdle's injury might keep him our for an extended period of time.
