The Pittsburgh Steelers have been linked to multiple wide receiver targets by well-respected insider Mark Kaboly days away from the November 10 trade deadline.
According to Kaboly, Steelers general manager Omar Khan has "explored" potential receiver trades involving Brian Thomas Jr., Jauan Jennings, Calvin Ridley, and Ladd McConkey, as well as any other wideouts available at the deadline, which may include Josh Downs of the Indianapolis Colts.
"Colts receiver Josh Downs seems like a perfect fit in terms of availability and price. Being on an expiring contract, a third-day pick might be the price," Kaboly wrote via X. "Brian Thomas Jr., [Jauan] Jennings, Calvin Ridley, Ladd McConkey, or whoever is available has been explored by Khan; you can be assured
of that."
Of the wide receivers mentioned by Kaboly, a few were linked as potential targets for the Steelers by ESPN insider Jeremy Fowler: Thomas, Downs, and Ridley. It remains to be seen if the Steelers will be able to pull off a deal for some additional receiver help or if the team will take a more modest approach at the trade deadline, as reported by insider Gerry Dulac.
