The Pittsburgh Steelers' Week 8 matchup against the Cleveland Browns has finally arrived, bringing with it the inactive list and giving fans an idea of which players will play and which will be held out for Sunday's matchup.
Via the newly revealed Week 8 inactive list, Pittsburgh's side of the ball has wide receiver Ben Skowronek, quarterbacks Drew Allar and Will Howard, cornerback Brandin Echols, running back Eli Heidenreich and defensive back Doneiko Slaughter, all sitting out on Sunday. Some of these announcements come as no surprise, as Echols and Slaughter were ruled out on the Week 8 injury report. Also on the inactive report is that Howard will serve as the emergency third QB.
For the Browns, quarterbacks Dillon Gabriel and Taylen Green,
linebacker Justin Jefferson, cornerback Noah Igbinoghene, running back Audric Estime and center Parker Brailsford are inactive for Sunday's matchup. Additionally, Gabriel will serve as Cleveland's emergency third quarterback.
