With just 5 days to go, we're tasked with analyzing the best No. 5 in Steelers' history, who just so happens to be one of the puntesr from the Steel Curtain era: Craig Colquitt.
Drafted by Pittsburgh in the third round of the 1978 NFL Draft, Colquitt went on to play six seasons with the Steelers. During this time, Colquitt punted 429 times for 17,734 yards, the third most all time in franchise
history behind only Josh Miller (24,547) and Bobby Walden (29,462).
A two-time Super Bowl champion, Colquitt is one of the best punters in team history and deserves recognition as the greatest Steeler to ever wear No. 5.
