The second week of the Pittsburgh Steelers' training camp has started off hot, with plenty of standout performances — and off days — to recognize.
From rookie excellence to a pair of veterans who didn't have the best practice session, here's a look at the biggest winners and losers from Day 6 of training camp.
Winners
Max Iheanachor
Iheanachor is looking more and more NFL ready with every passing week. The standout rookie dominated T.J. Watt, Nick Herbig, and Jack Sawyer in one-on-ones on Tuesday. If Iheanachor can continue this newfound hot streak, he may soon find himself in the starting lineup.
Brandin Echols
Echols had an outstanding Day 6 of practice at training camp, recording some incredible pass breakups, a would-be sack, and an interception of Rodgers. Expected to play a depth
role in 2026, Echols could move up the depth chart with more performances like this.
Sebastian Joseph-Day
Joseph-Day's run defense prowess was evident throughout practice, as he ate up double teams and proved why the Steelers made a wise decision in signing him. Joseph-Day's passion was also on display when he and Troy Fautanu got into a scuffle. It was an excellent Day 6 of practice for the big defensive lineman.
Losers
T.J. Watt
Watt has looked solid throughout training camp so far but was handled by Iheanachor and Dylan Cook during one-on-one drills on Day 6. Watt should easily bounce back in the coming practices, but falling to both Iheanachor and Cook landed him in the losers category for Tuesday.
Aaron Rodgers
Rodgers threw two interceptions on Day 6 and was almost picked off by Jaquan Brisker for a third time. It wasn't the best day of practice for Rodgers, but the 42-year-old quarterback will look to rebound as the preseason draws near.
