The Pittsburgh Steelers and Kansas City Chiefs reportedly are interested in trading for a former first-round wide receiver from the 2024 NFL Draft.
According to Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio, the Steelers and Chiefs are reportedly interested in Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. ahead of the NFL trade deadline.
"As a result, 2024 first-rounder Brian Thomas Jr. has interest in a fresh start," Florio wrote. "And multiple teams are believed to be interested in acquiring him. Currently, the Chiefs, Steelers, and Commanders have interest."
Thomas, who was drafted by the Jaguars with the 23rd overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, had a stellar rookie season with Jacksonville in which he recorded 1,282 yards and 10 touchdowns on 87 catches.
He was subsequently named to the Pro Bowl in his rookie season. Unfortunately, he didn't find the same success in 2025 and hasn't been off to a great start in 2026.
