According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Pittsburgh Steelers running back Jaylen Warren will play on Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals despite being listed as questionable with an shoulder injury. This is great news for a Steelers offense that has been the worst in the NFL through two games.
Pittsburgh will have to do without co-starting running back Rico Dowdle. Dowdle was ruled out with a toe injury. The Steelers signed Travis Homer from the practice squad to replace him but the brunt of the run game will fall on Warren this week.
Through two games, Warren leads the team with just 89 rushing yards. The problems with the run game go deeper than the talent at running back and Warren has a chance to make a statement this week in a must-win game.
