This was a touchdown drive fueled by Dallas’ penalties. Early in the drive, the Eagles went for it on fourth and one. Quarterback Tanner McKee fumbled and it was going to be a turnover on downs. However, the Cowboys were offsides, extending the drive for Philadelphia. Later in the drive after
the Eagles got into the red zone, Dallas was called for roughing the passer on third down. Pierce scored a touchdown on the next play.
Penalties have been a key part of this game, as the Eagles have yet to get called for a penalty while the Cowboys have six penalties, including a 91-yard kickoff returned for a touchdown that was called back due to a penalty.
