The Chicago Bears hoped to get help in the run game with running back Kyle Monangai. However, after missing all-week practice, Monangai has been ruled out for the Bears' Monday Night Football game against the Seattle Seahawks.

Although Monangai will not be coming back, they are getting help on the other side of the ball with the return of linebacker T.J. Edwards, who hasn't played since their Week 5 loss to the Green Bay Packers. Fellow linebacker Jack Sanborn is also returning after missing last week with a concussion.
For Chicago’s offense, it is a relief to see tight end Colston Loveland does not have an injury
designation after popping up on the injury report on Friday with a neck injury. Especially with tight end Cole Kmet out for the season and head coach Ben Johnson’s tendency to use multiple tight ends, the Bears needed Loveland in this game.
They still have two players who are questionable for Monday’s game. Linebacker D’Marco Jackson fully participated in Saturday’s practice, but his status remains uncertain. Jackson received a game ball last week after having six total tackles and a red zone interception. Rookie cornerback Malik Muhammad is also questionable. Through the first seven games of the season, he is arguably Chicago’s best cornerback with 21 total tackles, an interception, and a sack.
