The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have decided on Jalon Daniels as the final 53-man roster is being finalized.
Daniels signed with the franchise as an undrafted free agent, but has been plenty impressive throughout training camp and the preseason. And on Sunday, it was reported that the Buccaneers are set to move forward with Daniels as Baker Mayfield's backup quarterback.

Daniels played in all threepreseason games for the Buccaneers and put on solid performances in all of his appearances, going 27-for-44 passing for 239 yards and one touchdown while also adding
37 rushing yards and one score. He entered the preseason as a long shot for the backup role, as veteran Jake Browning was expected to serve in that role. But the Buccaneers were clearly impressed with what Daniels offers.
"[Daniels] has shown a lot. He's shown a lot," Buccaneers coach Todd Bowles said on Friday "We're going to go back and evaluate the film."
Browning, meanwhile, will be released after losing the backup job, according to reports. He signed a one-year, $1.3 million contract with the franchise in March after spending the last six seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals.
