Things are going from bad to worse for the Seattle Seahawks. Following their loss to the Chicago Bears on Monday Night Football, quarterback Sam Darnold has been ruled out for Seattle’s next game against the Arizona Cardinals.

Darnold has been having a rough season so far. He already has nine interceptions after only 14 last season. His completion percentage is down by 7.5 percent, and his quarterback rating has also decreased. It does not help that he is under more pressure this season and has been sacked 17 times, including three times against the Bears.
With Seattle at 4-4 and losing two
of their last three games, their Sunday game against the Cardinals looks like a must-win if they want to stay in the NFC wild-card race and have a chance to catch the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC West. However, it will not be easy against Arizona, who are coming off an overtime win over the Dallas Cowboys and also beat the Los Angeles Rams.
The Seahawks will be starting Drew Lock with Darnold out. Lock also played in Week 2’s victory over the Cardinals when Darnold couldn't play due to injury. In that game, Lock completed 19 of 26 pass attempts for 235 yards and three touchdowns. He was sacked only once, and Seattle won by 24 points.
