All good things must come to an end. For the San Francisco 49ers, that includes their six-game win streak to open the season.
On Sunday, the 49ers hit their first road bump of the season as the Atlanta Falcons handed the 49ers a 29-20 loss. It was an unusual loss, too, as the 49ers fell despite jumping out to an 11-point first-half lead and finishing the game by outgaining Atlanta by over 100 yards in total offense.

Vikings, Chiefs remain as two sole undefeated teams in the NFL
Fortunately for the 49ers, they remain the outright leaders in the NFC West, as the division has gotten off to a slow start this season outside of San Francisco. But with their loss, the league is down to just two undefeated teams.
One of those teams, the Minnesota Vikings, will be able to hold onto that
claim for at least one more week, as they secured a 16-10 victory over the Colts on Sunday to move to 6-0 for the first time since the 2009 season. The other team is the Kansas City Chiefs, who still have to play the Seahawks in a Sunday Night Football showdown this evening to emerge from Week 7 undefeated.
The 49ers will have a week to nurse their wounds as they head into their Week 8 bye, then they'll get a shot at the Raiders as they look to get back in the win column. And who knows? By the time that game is played, the 49ers might share the league's best record once again.
