Jayden Daniels saw his injury woes continue on Sunday, as the Commanders quarterback dislocated his elbow against the Cowboys after using his left arm to attempt to brace himself for a fall. It was another in a series of brutal injuries for Daniels, who dislocated the same elbow last season, an injury that ended up sidelining him for the rest of the season, minus an attempted return in Week 14.
On Monday, reports indicated that Daniels underwent imagingof the elbow today, with multiple experts in the coming days about the injury, which is the typical team protocol. Head coach Dan Quinn does anticipate Daniels will return this season.
"I haven't had any reason to think otherwise," Quinn said.

Has Jayden Daniels permanently damaged his left elbow?
Once upon a time, the Washington Commanders were quarterbacked by another young phenom named Robert Griffin III. Griffin III couldn't stay healthy, and injuries eventually derailed his NFL career. That could be the case with Daniels, who has now suffered four injuries in less than a season and a half, including two brutal dislocations to the same elbow.
Daniels was playing well before his injury, going 11-for-17 passing for 96 yards and one touchdown before leaving the game. The week before, he went 18-for-34 passing for 164 yards and two touchdowns. Now, Marcus Mariota will step up to serve as the quarterback for Washington – he went 11-for-16 for 111 yards and one touchdown.
