The Philadelphia Eagles will be without Jalen Hurts for the rest of the 2026 season.
Hurts is suffering from multiple blood clots in his lungs. Last week it was discovered he had blood clots in his calf.
His agent, Nicole Lynn, released a statement:

"Jalen's prognosis is very good, and we expect a full recovery," the statement said. "We anticipate that he will have the opportunity to resume contact football activities when off the blood thinners. In the meantime, he will remain active around the team and continue to condition. More importantly, we anticipate that he will have no long-term effects."
It is anticipated treatment will last three months.
The defending NFC East champions are 2-4 after losing to the Carolina Panthers
on Sunday.
Tanner McKee started in place of Hurts.
A week before, the Eagles played the Jacksonville Jaguars in London. It is being reported Hurts was in a hospital there until 4 a.m. the day of the day. He had not slept for 36 hours yet still played and threw for 220 yards and a touchdown.
