The Rams will officially be getting a much-needed boost on defense as they enter their Week 2 Monday Night Football showdown against the Giants.
With Myles Garrett officially on injured reserve, the Rams need some extra juice on the defensive line. After reports indicated multi-time All-Pro defensive tackle Aaron Donald was targeting Week 2 for his return after two seasons out, Donald confirmed he'll be back to play that week. When asked if he'll play on Monday, he said, "That's the plan."

How much action will Aaron Donald see in Week 2, and what will he look like?
It will be interesting to see just how much fans see of Aaron Donald this week. NFL insider Ian Rapoport believes he'll want to play "as many snaps
as humanly possible," but his decision to stage an NFL comeback came pretty recently, and he hasn't exactly been in game shape the past couple of years. And when he is in the game, will he be the same Aaron Donald fans remember, or could it take some time to readjust?
"We'll see how many snaps Aaron Donald will really play," said Rapoport. "The Aaron Donald you're going to see Monday is not the Aaron Donald you're going to see Monday is not going to be the Donald you'll see in Week 16, 17, 18. It's a work in progress."
