The season isn't starting the way the New England Patriots planned. They are already in a hole in the division with a 1-2 record while the Buffalo Bills are undefeated. Now, the Patriots and Bills are facing off in Week 4. New England could have used all hands on deck, but instead they are going into this matchup shorthanded.
Their Pro Bowl cornerback, Christian Gonzalez, is out with a shoulder injury. He has now missed at least one game due to injury in all four NFL seasons.
