The Dallas Cowboys and Baltimore Ravens hashed it out in a classic in Brazil. It was a back-and-forth game, with both teams scoring in every quarter and 13 points scored in the final two minutes as the Ravens won 34-31.
Dallas jumped out to a 10-0 lead in the first quarter, but Baltimore took the lead 17-10 with a few minutes left in the first half; the Cowboys added another field goal to make it 17-13 at the break. Both the Ravens and Dallas scored touchdowns in the third quarter, and the Cowboys got a two-point conversion to make it 24-21, with Baltimore on top going into the fourth quarter.
The Cowboys took the lead in the fourth quarter, 28-24. But with under two minutes left in the game, quarterback Lamar Jackson threw a touchdown to tight
end Matthew Hibner to make it 31-28 with just 1:30 left in the game. Dallas quarterback Dak Prescott responded with a drive of his own as kicker Brandon Aubrey kicked a 23-yard field goal with seven seconds left to tie the game at 31-31.
It looked like this was going to overtime. But with only seven seconds, Lamar Jackson threw a 27-yard dart to receiver Zay Flowers. Jackson got the timeout with just one second left to set up the 56-yard field goal from Tyler Loop for the 34-31 win. It was Loop’s first game-winning field goal of his career.
