Six weeks of the NFL season are now under wraps, with many teams one-third of the way through. But that leaves plenty of football to play, and plenty of fantasy games to play as well. Here are the wide receivers you should start and the ones you should sit in Week 7.
Start Em'
Malik Nabers, New York Giants: Whether J.J. McCarthy or Jameis Winston starts, they'll likely throw to Nabers, who caught 12 passes for 165 yards last week. He's averaging 17.1 fantasy points per game, and 26.9 over his last three outings, making him a fantasy WR1 during that stretch. He'll face a Texans defense that is allowing the second-most fantasy points to wide receivers this season.
A.J. Brown, New England Patriots: This is a riskier choice, but it could pay off big. Yes, Brown had
two drops and only three receptions after returning from injury last week. But he was also targeted 10 times, and once he shakes off the rust, he'll catch a lot more of those. This week, he faces a Bears defense allowing an NFL-high 15.1 yards per target on downfield throws.
Jameson Williams, Detroit Lions: Williams has scored a combined 34.9 fantasy points in his last two outings. This week, he'll face the Packers, whom he scored nearly 27 fantasy points against in their last meeting. The Packers have allowed double-digit fantasy points to eight wide receivers this season, with five scoring 16-or-more fantasy points.
Sit Em'
Michael Wilson, Arizona Cardinals: In some ways, Wilson feels due for a good stat line after recording just eight catches for 62 yards over the past two games. This week, he'll face a tough match-up against a tough Broncos defense, which is allowing the third-fewest fantasy points per target to perimeter receivers and the 10th-lowest EPA to opposing receivers in the league.
Zay Flowers, Baltimore Ravens: We'd normally recommend Flowers as a starter, but the Browns contained him last week to just six receptions for 66 yards. This week, he faces a much tougher Bengals defense, which allows the sixth-fewest fantasy points per game to opposing receivers.
Xavier Worthy, Kansas City Chiefs: Worthy has been on a bit of a hot streak for the Chiefs, scoring 11 or more fantasy points in three of his last four outings. But this week, he faces a stiff test against the Seahawks defense, which allows the third-fewest fantasy points and the third-lowest EPA per target to opposing wide receivers.
