No one will look at New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye's start to the season and argue that he looked like the same quarterback who was an NFL MVP contender just last season. But if you look at his performance against the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday, it's also hard to argue that he's not getting back on track.
The Patriots dominated the Raiders in their second straight win, moving over .500 in the win-loss column for the first time this season. And a lot of that had to do with how Drake May performed. He completed 76% of his passes, going 26-for-34 for 374 yards, four touchdowns, and zero interceptions, while adding 25 rushing yards and one touchdown.

Maye posted a 150.9 passer rating against the Raiders, the highest passer rating any NFL quarterback has posted in a single game this season. More than that, it was a statement to fans who doubted whether he was as good as he looked last season, as he helped dispel any negative perceptions about his rough start.
Maye went 51-for-80 passing in the first three games, for a 63% completion rate, and threw just one touchdown and six interceptions. Since then, he has thrown seven touchdowns and one interception, and his accuracy looks much more dialed in than at any point this season. If Maye keeps playing this way, it's not hard to see the Patriots making another deep postseason run.
