Cleveland Browns fans who have been asking for Shedeur Sanders to get another starting opportunity will finally get their wish.
After a poor preseason from Deshaun Watson, the fan base strongly called for the franchise to choose Sanders as the starter. That sentiment was largely silenced after a 5-2 start to the season, but the Browns lost a crucial AFC North showdown with the Steelers last week. Now, the Browns have announced that Watson is recovering from a concussion and will turn to Sanders as the starter this week against the Saints.

Sanders has played in just three regular-season
games this season, going 3-for-3 passing for two yards. But last year, he started seven games for the Browns and passed for 1,400 yards, seven touchdowns, and 10 interceptions. Watson, meanwhile, has passed for 1,806 yards, seven touchdowns, and three interceptions in eight outings this season.
It's currently unclear how long Watson will be out. But if Sanders wants to secure the starting job in Cleveland long term, this weekend may be his best chance to show head coach Todd Monken he deserves the opportunity, especially as the Browns face a Saints defense among the worst in the league this season.
