After things seemed too good to be true for the Las Vegas Raiders following an undefeated start to the season, the season has taken a sharp downturn for Klint Kubiak in his first year at the helm. And they only got worse on Sunday.
The Raiders suffered a double-digit loss to the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday, marking their fourth consecutive loss as their record dropped below .500 for the first time this season. An embarrassing first half saw the Rams jump out to a 28-3 lead. The Raiders outscored the Rams 18-7, starting with a field goal to close out the first half, but couldn't recover from the deficit.

Will the Raiders turn to Fernando Mendoza as the starter?
It doesn't seem like starting quarterback Kirk Cousins is the problem. He has thrown
for 1,216 passing yards, seven touchdowns, and just two interceptions during the 0-4 stretch. The Raiders are above average offensively, ranking 15th in total offense and 6th in scoring offense. And they have the seventh-best passing offense in the NFL. However, they also have just the 30th-best rushing offense in the league.
But when asked after the game at what point he starts to consider the "future of the franchise" and turn to No. 1 overall draft pick Fernando Mendoza, he said pretty much anything is on the table.
"At this point, we're thinking about everything. How to fix our problems, how to fix our issues in the redzone, in the third quarter. Personnel, scheme – we've got to talk about all of it."
