Everybody knows by now the story of how the San Francisco 49ers passed on Tom Brady in the 2000 draft. Brady grew up a huge 49ers fan, thinking that the team would pick him, but they passed him over, opting for Tim Rattay and Giovanni Carmazzi.
Eventually, the New England Patriots drafted Brady in the 6th round at 199, and the rest, they say, is history.
Even though it's been 26 years, Brady still hasn't forgotten or forgiven.

The ironic thing is that Brady participated in a documentary about the 49ers earlier this year, about their dynasty in the 1980s.
Of late, Brady has been less focused on football and reportedly trying to work an angle with Logan Paul in the WWE.
Brady really wants this match because he wants to show he still has what it takes to be a world-class athlete.
"I think I can get in there for at least one match, right?" Brady said. "Come on, Nick (president of the WWE Nick Khan) Come on, make it happen."
"I feel like I'm retired from football, and I have an opportunity to go out there and still showcase that I'm a little bit of an athlete," Brady said.
Although Brady may want this match to happen, Paul is nursing a severe torn triceps injury from his last fight that might keep him out of commission for several months.
So, it looks like Brady will be back at his job in September, calling NFL games for Fox Sports instead of being in the squared circle.
