Week 7 in the NFL will feature three star QBs poised to reach career milestones or set historic marks as they climb the record books. Those QBs are Pittsburgh Steelers QB Aaron Rodgers, Cincinnati Bengals QB Joe Burrow, and Detroit Lions QB Jared Goff.
This season, Aaron Rodgers has 12 touchdown passes, including 2 or more in his last 4 starts. With 2 touchdown passes against the New Orleans Saints in Paris, Rodgers would surpass Pro Football Hall of Famer Drew Brees for the second-most games with multiple touchdown passes. Brees holds that spot with 186 (games), and only Tom Brady has more with 233 (games).
Since 2020, Bengals QB Joe Burrow has 31 career games with at least 3 touchdown passes, which is tied for second-most during that span. With
3 more touchdown passes against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, Burrow would tie Peyton Manning (32 games) for the third-most games with at least 3 touchdown passes by a player in their first 7 seasons in the NFL. Only Dan Marino (42) and Patrick Mahomes (38) have more.
Since entering the NFL in 2016, Jared Goff has led the league in passing yards with 41,107. With 139 more yards against the rival Green Bay Packers, Goff can surpass Derek Carr (41,245 passing yards) for the third-most passing yards by a player in their first 11 seasons. Only Matt Ryan and Peyton Manning have more.
