The New England Patriots had the Chicago Bears right where they wanted them after getting a sack on quarterback Caleb Williams in the red zone right before halftime. After the kickoff, there were nine seconds left on the clock. Patriots quarterback Drake Maye completed a pass across the middle to A.J. Brown, his first reception of the game. New England took a timeout with three seconds left and one final
chance to score before halftime. Instead of throwing the hail mary, they dumped it off to running back Rhamondre Stevenson who went into the end zone untouched for the 48-yard touchdown to end the half.
