With the preseason coming to a close and each team finalizing its 53-man regular season roster, Aaron Donald finally decided
to come out of retirement after two seasons away from the sidelines and re-join the Rams.The move comes after an offseason of speculation that he would make his return after the Rams traded for reigning NFL Defensive Player of the Year and single-season NFL sacks leader Myles Garrett. And at his first press conference following his return, he opened up about what he hopes will come of teaming with Garrett.

Donald is a legendary defensive lineman in his own right, having become a three-time Defensive Player of the Year and an eight-time first-team All-Pro selection during his decade-long career with the Rams before he initially retired in 2023.
Donald re-joins the Rams on a one-year, $20 million contract, further bolstering a roster that was already considered the favorite to win Super Bowl LXI, according to Vegas oddsmakers.
