The Los Angeles Rams are a disappointing 2-3. Now, they could be without offensive lineman Alaric Jackson for two games because of his actions on the SoFi Stadium field after Monday night's 37-34 loss to the Buffalo Bills.
While players were exchanging handshakes and jerseys, Jackson threw a punch at Buffalo defensive player Bradley Chubb.

It was caught on video and the NFL ruled Tuesday that the punch will cost Jackson two games and the pay that goes with them.
Per the NFL:
“After the game, as players were shaking hands and exchanging jerseys, Jackson struck Buffalo linebacker Bradley Chubb in the face after a brief confrontation, violating Rule 12, Section
3, Article 1, which applies to 'any act which is contrary to the generally understood principles of sportsmanship,'" the NFL explained in a statement.
Under the Collective Bargaining Agreement, Jackson may appeal the suspension. Head coach Sean McVay said the lineman would do just that.
This is Jackson's second NFL suspension. In 2024, he was suspended two games for violation of the NFL's personal conduct policy. It stemmed from a woman suing him and alleging Jackson had recorded sexual acts with her on his phone without her consent.
