The New York Giants appeared to have the game won in overtime ... and Cam Skattebo fumbled.
The Washington Commanders were in position for a game-winning field goal attempt ... and Jayden Daniels apparently lost his mind.
The NFC East teams finished in a 27-27 tie on Sunday in a game neither team could figure out how to win. Fitting.
The Commanders saw the Giants come back from a 27-13 deficit to force overtime after Big Blue missed a long field goal that would have won it.
In overtime, the Giants were driving for what appeared to be a game-winning score via field goal or TD. Skattebo fumbled on his 15th touch of the game.
Washington recovered and used short passes to turn into moderate to long gains.

Both teams had used their timeouts in the extra session, something Daniels must have lost track of.
Instead of spiking the ball as the clock ticked under 10 seconds, he called a pass play, tried to scramble and time ran out.

The Giants, who thought they were on the verge of defeat, actually celebrated Daniels' gaffe.
I’m in total disbelief my Commanders had such poor clock management in today’s overtime game against the Giants. All we had to do was kick the field goal and we would have won the game!🤦🏾♂️
