What is the story about?

The New York Jets' ineptitude has been chronicled for years. They manage to find and invent ways to lose.

On Sunday, the Jets were home to a winless Miami Dolphins team and managed to watch as Fish first-year coach Jeff Hafley got his first win, 28-25, at MetLife Stadium.

The defeat was by three points. However, any defeat, especially at home to the Dolphins is troubling.

If one wants to point toward one set of down or series that sums up Aaron Glenn's Jets tenure, just look at what happened when New York had a first-and-goal from the Miami 1 in the fourth quarter:

Yes, the Jets went from first-and-goal at the Miami 1 to having to settle for a 33-yard field goal in what turned into a three-point loss to a fellow AFC East team.
