By Sunday at 6 p.m., NFL rosters must be cut to 53 active players. A far stretch from the 90 that teams carry throughout training camps. For some, childhood dreams will become a reality; for others, it will be time to keep working, attempt to get on in another league, or pursue other endeavors and work a 9-to-5.

Teams can carry 17 practice-squad players (including one international player).

With the position battles coming to a close, it is time to look at some of the most notable players who did not make the cut this summer. Cut day is a little earlier this offseason, as it is usually the Tuesday after the last preseason game. The teams are listed in alphabetical order.
