Hall of Fame Boston Celtics small forward Larry Bird was one of the greatest to play in the NBA. And if you do not want to take our word for it, take the collective testimony of some of the greats to play in his era, bit on his Celtics and suiting up for the ball clubs playing against them. Robert Parish and Cedric Maxwell from the Hick From French Lick's 1981 and 1984 title squads will testify to his elite capabilities on a basketball court.
So will the likes of Patrick Ewing of the New York Knicks, Scottie Pippen of the Chicago Bulls, Charles Barkley of the Philadelphia 76ers, even his Airness Michael Jordan will attest to the otherworldly skill of Bird on the court.
The folks behind the "Swish Nation" YouTube channel put together a clip featuring
his peers singing his praises whether from the point of view of teammate or opponent. Check it out below!
