Neemias Queta was a breakout performer for the Boston Celtics last season. Stepping into the starting role, Queta proved himself as one of the more reliable bigs in the NBA, earning himself a four-year $56 million contract as a result. However, Queta will face a new level of competition in Boston following the team's addition of Mitchell Robinson earlier this summer.
As we near the start of the Celtics' training camp, both Queta and Robinson will likely be competing for a starting role within the rotation. Robinson is fresh off helping the New York Knicks secure a championship, while Queta is a proven commodity within Joe Mazzulla's system. Both players have a fair argument as to why they should be the starting big man.
Then, you have to factor
in Luka Garza, who also exceeded expectations during his debut season with the Celtics. Unlike Robinson and Queta, Garza is a floor-spacing five and an elite screener, both of which can gel well with Boston's five-out offense.
