The Boston Celtics will head south to face the Orlando Magic on the road on Sunday afternoon. The C's have defeated the Magic three times in a row, dating back to November of last year, yet they've only earned one win at the Kia Center since 2023.
Boston is coming off a double-digit win over the Chicago Bulls on Friday evening while Orlando beat the Toronto Raptors that same night in Canada. The Magic have suffered multiple major injuries to start the season and won't be at full strength against the Celtics, who are currently on a four-game winning streak. The undermanned Magic have surprised the Celtics before (and vice versa), so the Green Team shouldn't expect an easy victory. The C's still haven't submitted an injury report, but there could
be some absences given the fact that Sunday is the first leg of a back-to-back set of games for Boston.
Records, standing, and streaks
The Celtics are 4-1 and have recorded four consecutive wins. They sit in third place in the Eastern Conference and are half a game behind the the 5-1 Detroit Pistons and Philadelphia 76ers.
Meanwhile, the Magic hold a 2-3 record and are in ninth place in the East.
Player injuries
The Celtics haven't posted an injury report yet, however, it's worth noting that guard Devin Carter has missed every game this season due to illness (mononucleosis).

The Magic are one of the most injured teams in the NBA, as Paolo Banchero (high ankle sprain), Jonathan Isaac (left knee injury management), Izaiyah Nelson (left ankle injury recovery), Noah Penda (right partially torn hamstring), and Jalen Suggs (right knee contusion) are all out on Sunday.
