Brad Stevens has rarely put a foot wrong since being elevated from the sidelines to the Boston Celtics' front office. He masterminded the flurry of moves that ultimately led to the Celtics winning the 2024 NBA Championship, and has consistently found contributing talent late in the draft. However, Stevens' cachet with the fanbase took a significant hit earlier this summer when he flipped Jaylen Brown to the Philadelphia 76ers in return for Paul George and draft compensation.
For the second straight summer, Stevens has wheeled-and-dealed his way to a new-look rotation while ensuring Boston is in position to reset the repeater tax. Despite all those moves and the fact that the Celtics are now awash with young, developing talent, they still have
enough in the tank to be a genuine threat in the East in the coming season.
